Greg Pote is Chairman of APSCA, the business association for secure identity and payments, which he co-founded in 1997. Greg is also Chief Information Officer of ID4Africa, a multi-stakeholder movement that promotes the transparent and responsible adoption of digital identity in the service of development in Africa. Greg has chaired and spoken at more than 200 industry conferences, forums and seminars covering identity and payments, across 22 countries in Asia, Africa, the Gulf and Europe, leading discussions with experts from governments, banks, transport operators, mobile operators and technology companies. Greg is a jury member for the Radiant Awards for government electronic identity schemes, and was a jury member for the Cartes Paris and Cartes Asia SESAMES Awards, the NFC Forum & WIMA Global Competition and the Asia PKI Innovation Awards.
